Frank
Maloney as "Andrew"
Frank originally began his interest
in the Arts as a filmmaker whilst studying Electronics at RMIT
& VUT , He then completed a Documentary Production course
at the Australian Film & Television School in Melbourne,
before going on to produce and direct his first major documentary
Sleep When Your Dead!, distributed by AFI Distribution
in the early 1990's. He then side-stepped into the business world
and completed a Bachelor of Business (Business Administration)
from Monash University.
But,
the Arts would not leave him alone, and so, in February 2004,
he signed up for the Acting Up at the House classes with
Sally McLean and began his foray into the world of the actor.
From this experience, he went on to undertake training with NIDA
(National Institute of Dramatic Art) in their 2004 Winter short
course intake and is currently undertaking the Acting Tour
18 course at the VCA (Victorian College of the Arts).
Frank's future plans include
making the sequel to his first documentary - Sleep When You're
Dead II - and to develop and pursue production and acting
opportunities in Australian Film and television
