Sound Operator - Glen Pelz

Glen began his involvement in theatre while attending Mt Erin Secondary College, where he developed an interest in the unusual combination of percussion and electronics. After taking part in various plays from Year 9 to 12, he left school to pursue his love of music. To support this interest, he completed an Associate Diploma in A/V Technology, going on to become a Computer Administrator, Audio/Visual Trainer, Camera Operator and Lighting and Sound Operator. This included a stint at Monash University as an A/V Technician, working on their in-house video productions.

Glen’s credits include working with concert bands on the Peninsula and in Melbourne, particularly the Southern Peninsula Concert Band, holding the duel role of Musician and Technical Advisor for Pelican Theatre’s Man From Snowy River, Producing two of the Carols in the Park at Tyabb, being Sound Designer/Operator for the children’s pantomime Fire and working as Sound Designer/Operator and Video Designer/Operator for Pelican Theatre’s recent production of Jekyll & Hyde, amongst others.

Glen’s other projects include taking the role of Co-Producer for Pelican Theatre’s production, Spy, performed in November 2004.
